Emily Ryan-Davis takes over
In a “friendly takeover” act, I’ve commandeered KJ’s blog because I need to say thank you. My novella ALL HE WANTS released from Ellora’s Cave earlier this week and I owe some credit to both KJ and her husband. When I decided I wanted to write a naughty holiday story, way back in June, I also decided I wanted to write a naughty Marine story. (Blame to Mr. KJ, whose, er, champion-level homecoming stamina and widely-acclaimed daddy skills made me wish, just for a minute, that I had a Marine to call my own.)
Back in June? I didn’t know anything about the U.S. Marine Corps. KJ kindly allowed me to bother her with every single question I came up with, no matter how silly and no matter how unlikely the subject was to appear in the story. She even provided some visual inspiration, maybe or maybe not with Mr. KJ’s permission. When I e-mailed to ask for some blog space so I could pimp my book, KJ replied with an offer to plant Mr. KJ in front of a camera for an interview.
Thanks to the KJ Family knowledge and generosity, I’m excited to share my interview with a Real Live Marine…and his sword.

*sigh* Mr. KJ. Your arms. Your sword. Your boyish, charming grin.

Congrats on the release!
KJ, that man of yours…I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time. Great video. Congrats on your release, Emily!
That was so cute! I love that he was manly enough to enjoy being the model for the romance hero. Yay Marines!
What a cutie! Who wouldn’t want to base a romance hero off of him?
That was great! Thanks to Mr. KJ for being a good sport and to KJ for letting Emily “borrow” him for a while.
Congrats on your new release Emily.
Could he be any cuter? I think we all want one of those! Great interview
Hubby and I just watched this (he served in the Marines). And yes, short hair is sexy and there is something to be said for a man in a uniform. Personally, if I see anything military-related in the slush pile I want to see it. Military heroes are way up there for me
I’m still laughing! Great interview. Congrats on the release Emily
What a cutie! Great interview. Thanks for sharing.
Fantastic interview. . . so funny . . . and can I say kudos to Mr. KJ for being a great sport!! What a darling!! I love my husbank, but the chances of getting him to do an interview for one of my blogs would be zero to none. I’m totally impressed!
KJ your blogs never stop being awesome!! I love them!!
Emily, I told you in the chat at NOR, but I’ll tell you again. . .I’m dying to read this!! I love, love, love pregnancy stories. . . They’re my guilty pleasure. I was so excited to see a pregnancy kink for Kinkmas!! Wishing you TONS of success!!
Kele
Great interview and what a great sport. He’s definitely a keeper. Makes me wish I had me my own marine. Well, almost
. Best on the release, Emily.
You are so right…he is cute…if I had a Marine, I’d want one just like him. Thanks for the interview. It was wonderful.
Congrats on your new release…and…good luck!
Lynn
Such a cute idea! Totally the perfect model of a romance hero. Gotta love guns like that. Loved the humor too.
Congrats on the release, Emily!
Great interview! He has a great sense of humor. Definitely a keeper KJ!
Congrats on the new release, Emily!
Great interview/trailer Emily. Congratz on your new novel.
KJ, definitely a keeper there! What a great sport
Okay, he’s cute and awesome and I think I want to “borrow” him for an extended period of time with the option to not return.
Um, yeah.
What a great & supportive husband you are Mr. KJ! Not bad to look at either
Congrats on the new release Emily!
Great interview! What a good sport he is and a natural in front of the camera, too. Also smart. Short hair is sexy and so is the uniform.
Last, but not least, thanks to KJ’s husband and all the other Marines and service people for their service. The rest of us are lucky to have them.
Good luck with the new release, Emily.
What a lovely man
Funny, good looking and serving in the military. Can you clone him??
KJ you are a lucky lady, your hubby is adorable. Go Marines.
Emily congrats on the release it sounds like a fantastic story.

So, he has a brother…
Just kidding. (Sort of.)
Adorable interview. Loved it.
Great interview! KJ, he had a great sense of humor. Congrats on the release Emily,
That was a great interview. He really hammed it up:)
Lucky Lucky KJ! Give that marine a “special” treat tonight for being such a good spokesperson for all of us!
I got a good laugh out of the interview with KJ’s Mister; it made me miss my Marine, who’s currently in Afghanistan.
